Continental Airlines Arena to Replace Exterior Box Office Marquee

BROOKINGS, S.D. – Sept. 20, 2007 – The New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority announced today it will replace its main box office marquee outside of Continental Airlines Arena, with a new full-color digital display designed and manufactured by Daktronics Inc. of Brookings, S.D. (NASDAQ-DAKT).

The state-of-the-art system features the latest Daktronics LED technology with the capabilities to present video images, colorful animation and vivid graphics with incredible brightness and wide angle visibility. The display will measure approximately 5 feet high by 57 feet wide with pixels on 23 millimeter spacing. Daktronics LED technology offers a long lifetime with minimal maintenance and low power consumption, providing value and excitement for years to come.

Daktronics and the New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority, who runs the Meadowlands, have had a long and rewarding relationship, as Daktronics has provided 14 ProStar^® and ProAd^® LED video displays for Giants Stadium, Continental Airlines Arena and Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The company first installed display equipment at Giants Stadium in 1989 and equipment at Continental Airlines Arena and the Meadowlands Racetrack in the early 1990s.
